Cursa de Nadal 2026

The Cursa de Nadal is a 4 km Christmas race held in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. It begins and ends at the parking lot on Avinguda València. The children’s race takes place before the adult race. The event is organized by the local town council and Club Multiesport Benitatxell. It is open to runners and walkers of any age, provided they are fit enough to complete the distance. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a registered adult. The race is short, local, and simple to enter. A low online fee is available, and same-day registration is possible near the finish area until shortly before the start. The walking and children’s entries include a charitable tradition: participants bring 1 kg of non-perishable food for Cáritas del Poble Nou. The first three men and women receive trophies, with awards for runners aged 16 and over. The Christmas spirit is also reflected in prizes for the best individual and group costumes, plus a raffle of sponsor gifts for participants.
