Duatló de Granollers 2027

The Duatló de Granollers, also known as Duatló Ciutat de Granollers, is a run-bike-run event staged at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, near Granollers. The adult race format is short and quick: 5 km running, 19 km cycling, followed by a 2 km run. Club Triatló Granollers organizes the event with assistance from the Catalan Triathlon Federation, and it is listed on the federation’s schedule. The adult race has a limit of 450 participants, and all categories and formats combined attract approximately 750 athletes. The course utilizes a professional motor-racing circuit, providing a more regulated and distinct environment compared to a typical road duathlon. The schedule features races for youth and children alongside the adult competition, with younger participants beginning before the adults. The adult race is in its sixteenth year, and the children’s race is in its fourteenth, establishing it as a fixture in the Catalan duathlon landscape. Timing is managed using ChampionChip’s yellow chip system, and participants without their own chip can rent one on the day.
