Maratón Valencia is a December road marathon in Valencia, Spain, covering the full 42.195 km distance. It begins at Plaça de la Marató and concludes on a walkway over water at the City of Arts and Sciences. The route is designed for fast running, featuring a flat profile at sea level and wide avenues, attracting many participants aiming for a personal best. The course crosses Valencia’s historic center, providing a city atmosphere before the final section at a well-known modern landmark. The event can accommodate up to 36,000 runners, with age categories from young adults through M80/W80, adhering to World Athletics and Spanish federation rules. Bib pickup occurs at ExpoDeporte Valencia, located in the Museo Príncipe Felipe on the Friday and Saturday preceding the race.
