Marxa dels Gats 2026

Marxa dels Gats is a non-competitive night walk in Palamós, on the Costa Brava, with routes through the Castell-Cap Roig natural area. It starts and finishes at Platja de Sant Esteve de La Fosca, and the event is designed for families, friends, first-timers, and people of all ages, not exclusively trained trail runners. The route follows the Camí de Ronda and small trails around Palamós, passing through forests, paths, and coves under the moonlight. There are 13 km and 9 km trail options, both with modest climbing. The Camí de Ronda is lit with lanterns and colorful bracelets. The Associació Cultural Showboys de Palamós organizes it with support from the Ajuntament de Palamós. The concept is to walk at night like cats: stay agile, look carefully, and enjoy the coast after dark.
