The Milla Internacional de Berango is a one-mile running competition in Berango, Bizkaia, taking place in October with afternoon races. Organized by Berango Atletismo Taldea, it is a well-attended athletics event. The program also includes serious competition, with separate elite women’s and men’s races held in the evening.
The field is broader than a standard road mile, including school-age runners, popular runners, federated athletes, handbike athletes, and Paralympians. The race attracts top middle-distance runners, such as 1500-meter world champion Isaac Nader. Past editions have featured elite women’s winners like Marta Garcia Alonso.
