Pedals de Foc Non Stop is a 213-kilometer mountain bike ultramarathon based in Vielha, in the Pyrenees, with the same town used for the start and finish. It is listed as an early-July race and packs 6,200 meters of climbing into a single non-stop raid, so the challenge is not just distance but staying sharp through a long day and night on mountain terrain.
The course generally follows the Pedals de Foc route, a well-established high-mountain MTB loop around the area. The race drew more than 800 registered riders at its record participation mark, and its field is large enough to mix serious ultra-distance specialists with strong amateur mountain bikers. Its history matters in the discipline: Pedals de Foc Non Stop was one of the first MTB ultramarathon races in the world, later served as Spain’s MTB ultramarathon championship, and then hosted Europe’s first official MTB ultramarathon championship.
