Picobarro 2026

Picobarro is an open-water swimming race held at Playa del Chorrillo in Rota, Cádiz. It takes place in August, offering distinct distances for various age groups: 1,500 meters for Junior to Master swimmers, 750 meters for Alevín and Infantil swimmers, and 400 meters for the Benjamín category. The gathering point is at the access to Playa del Chorrillo, with the start and finish lines situated on the beach sand. Club Natación Rotartessos organizes the race, supported by Rota’s Sports Delegation. The event also serves as a memorial for Paquera de Rota.
