San Silvestrail Villa de Fines is a New Year’s Eve trail race held in Fines, a town in Almería, Spain. The primary 10 km run features 350 meters of elevation gain, commencing in the morning from the vicinity of the town hall. As a San Silvestre, it aligns with Spain’s end-of-year running tradition, but this event incorporates off-road sections instead of solely utilizing flat city streets.
The course crosses Fines' streets and nearby terrain, with the start and finish lines situated adjacent to the town hall on Calle Real. A 6 km mini-trail with 150 meters of climbing is available for younger participants, alongside a 5 km hiking option. The awards reflect a distinctly local character: top finishers receive prizes such as ham, bread, wine, cured meats, and sweets, with a ham designated for the largest club and an additional ham raffled among participants.
