San Silvestre de Bailén is a popular end-of-year road race held in Bailén, a town in Jaén, Andalusia, during the Christmas period. The primary adult race covers a 5 km urban circuit, complemented by shorter races for children, ranging from the youngest categories up through school-age groups.
The race commences at Paseo de las Palmeras, crossing notable streets within Bailén’s historic center, adorned with Christmas decorations. Organized by the Bailén City Council’s sports department in conjunction with Club Atletismo Bailén, the event brings together adults, minors, school runners, and local participants in a festive year-end atmosphere.
