About this race
San Silvestre No Corazón de Galicia is an end-of-year run in Chantada, inland Galicia. Its second edition had 300 runners, double the previous turnout, making it feel local while growing quickly.
The route goes through Chantada, with adults and children participating. Costumes are a feature of the day, with more participants dressed up than previously. Raquel Rodríguez took the individual costume prize, and “Os nenos” won the team costume prize. Rubén Ríos and Tamara García finished first in the main men’s and women’s races, respectively. Youth races featured podiums for boys and girls aged 6 to 12. Volunteers, collaborators, speaker Hernán, and the local council assisted in running the event, and organizers confirmed its return.
