Media Maratón de Jaén 2026

The Sem-Marathon de Jaén begins and concludes on Calle Virgen de la Cabeza in Jaén, with participants completing the standard half-marathon distance of 21.097 kilometers through the Andalusian provincial capital. The Municipal Sports Board of Jaén City Council promotes the event, which takes place in late autumn and includes a 10K option on the same program. The course utilizes the city’s main streets, not a rural or trail setting, connecting the race directly to central Jaén. Provincial running clubs form a significant portion of the participants, and the event seeks to surpass the 500-runner participation from a previous edition. The race also honors Paco Manzaneda, recognized locally as a key figure in Jaén’s popular athletics scene.
