Tragamillas Backyard Ultra 2026

Tragamillas Backyard Ultra is a charity backyard ultra held at the Gran Hipódromo de Andalucía in Dos Hermanas, near Seville, scheduled for June. Runners participate in the standard backyard format: a 6.7 km loop, with one hour to complete it, followed by another start on the hour. Runners not returning to the start line within the hour are eliminated, progressively reducing the field until a single runner remains. The loop encircles the venue and has organizers as a challenging course with continuous ascents and descents, featuring approximately 145 meters of elevation gain per lap. This terrain, while seemingly straightforward initially, will gradually fatigue participants through its repeated inclines and declines. C.D. Trail Máquinas Tragamillas organizes the event to benefit Fundación Acaye, which supports cancer research, patient care, and families. The hipódromo also provides indoor areas for crews and spectators, grandstands, children’s activities, music, official merchandise, and a live concert, integrating companions into the event rather than having them simply observe.
