Trail Los Carabeos 2026

Trail Los Carabeos is a mountain running event in Valdeprado del Río, Cantabria, based around Montesclaros and the Los Carabeos area. The event features a main trail race, a 15 km Speed Trail, walking and family options, junior and lower-age categories, children’s races, and a wheelchair category. CD Somaloma Los Carabeos organizes it with the Valdeprado del Río town council. The race also honors the Memorial Manuel Pérez Nestar. The 15 km Speed Trail adds a competitive element, acting as the Cantabrian club championship for Speed Trail and contributing to the regional Speed Trail cup. The event offers more than just speed: participants receive insurance, chip timing, a runner’s bag with a commemorative shirt, aid stations during and after the race, post-race food, showers, parking, and medical support including doctors, nurses, ambulances, and physiotherapists. Trophies and gifts are awarded to winners, some categories include cash prizes, and organizers hold a gift raffle post-race.
