About this race
Trail Pueblos Blancos is a 65 km mountain trail race in the province of Cádiz, starting in Torre Alháquime at 9:00 in the morning. It is organized by Club Deportivo Trail Cencerunner and runs through the White Towns area of Andalusia, where many houses are painted with lime-washed white facades to reflect the heat.
The route links Olvera, Torre Alháquime, Alcalá del Valle, and Setenil de las Bodegas, with Setenil’s cave houses giving the course its most unusual village section. The race is part of the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos project, now in its third edition, and covers municipalities in the Sierra region plus parts of La Janda, so runners get a long point-to-point feeling across small inland towns rather than a short local loop.
