Trail Ribeira Sacra ( TRS ) 2026

Trail Ribeira Sacra is a mountain trail race held in Luintra, Ourense, Galicia, with upcoming editions in early October. The primary event is the Trail Ribeira Sacra 47, a 47.6 km long-distance run featuring 3,070 m of elevation gain, classifying it within the 50k trail category. It is included in the UTMB Index and holds an ITRA Mountain Level 7 rating, indicating the long course is designed for participants accustomed to challenging, technical terrain. The course crosses the Ribeira Sacra region and ascends into the Nogueira de Ramuin mountains, offering diverse terrain unlike a standard road race. The event also features shorter races and youth categories, such as TRS Cativos for children up to 9 years old and TRS Rapaces for ages 10 to 17. Post-race, participants receive local Galician products, adding a regional element to the day beyond the physical challenge and competition.
