Trail Valle de la Fueva 2027

FRI, March 26, 2027 · Tierrantona , Spain

About this race

Trail Valle de la Fueva begins and ends in Tierrantona, a village of just over 100 people in Spain’s Sobrarbe comarca. It is a spring mountain-running event with two main options: a 14 km route with 674 meters of climbing and a 26 km route with 1,134 meters of climbing. Both races are circular, starting and finishing in Tierrantona after climbing into the valley. The event is organized by the Ayuntamiento de La Fueva and Club Atlético Sobrarbe, with TEMPO FINITO directing the current edition. The high point of the course is Muro de Roda, a medieval hilltop enclave and the most distinctive landmark on the route. The race has also served as the opening round of the Copa de Aragón de Carreras por Montaña en Línea, where runners collect points across four events for the regional title. A recent edition drew more than 250 runners split almost evenly between the long and short courses. The race began with Club Atlético Sobrarbe in charge of the early editions, paused for several editions, and later returned without the marathon distance. The valley itself is quiet and lightly visited, shaped by Pyrenean depopulation but still home to 25 inhabited villages, including Humo de Muro, Lujan, Muro de Roda, and La Cabezonada, where the craft beer Rondadora is based and supports the event.
