The Travessia de les 6 Platges is an open-water swimming race in Tarragona, Spain, starting from the city’s beaches and focused on Platja del Miracle. Club Natació Tàrraco organizes it under the Tàrraco Aigües Obertes banner, and the race is part of the Catalan open-water swimming circuit. It typically occurs in early September, featuring short 800 m swims at Miracle for children and adapted categories, alongside longer point-to-point races along the Tarragona coast.
The primary routes conclude at Platja del Miracle: the 2.5 km swim begins at Arrabassada, and the 5 km swim starts at Llarga. The 5 km race also contributes to the Catalan Circuit Double Crown when combined with the 2.5 km distance. Approximately 300 athletes are anticipated, including club swimmers, younger age groups, adapted swimmers, and experienced open-water participants. A 10 km route was introduced for the race’s anniversary edition, while a previous long race was halted after rain and storms, with only the initial 27 swimmers recorded.
