About this race
Women Cycling Days - Sierra de Albarracín is a three-day cycling event in Spain's Sierra de Albarracín region, focused on encouraging more women to cycle. It offers group rides, workshops, and talks, welcoming all levels of experience, not just racers. This is the event's fourth year, and it has become a regular part of the Albarracín area calendar.
The routes utilize the region's roads and mountains, popular training grounds for road and mountain cyclists. Sierra de Albarracín features high average altitude, numerous climbs, and seven marked mountain passes totaling 67 km of roads that can form a circular route. The event also introduces participants to the area's villages, cuisine, cultural heritage, and scenery, leading local authorities to view cycling as both a sport and a driver for tourism.
