The 10 Km du 14ème is a 10 km road race held in Paris’s 14th arrondissement each mid-January, serving as the city’s first race of the year. It begins on Rue Mouton-Duvernet near the town hall and guides participants through some of the capital’s Art Deco streets.
The course consists of two loops within the arrondissement, a detail the organizer humorously notes is not fourteen. The French athletics federation officially measures the route. OMS14, the local sports movement office, manages the event, which has occurred for over forty editions. It attracts a diverse field, with recent races seeing more than a thousand finishers, averaging times around the mid-50-minute range.
