12 km de Pescalis 2026

The 12 km de Pescalis takes place in mid-July in Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre, Deux-Sèvres, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The primary event is a 12 km run, complemented by a 6 km option for those seeking a shorter morning run, and untimed children’s races of 700 m and 2,000 m. Organized by the Trailers de Moncoutant, this race has been held for over thirty editions. The 6 km course circles the Pescalis ponds once. The event utilizes the area’s natural setting of paths, water, and greenery, differing from a city-street race. Both licensed and non-licensed runners may enter the adult races. The children’s events focus on participation, providing a gift for each child; parental release forms are required for non-licensed young participants. The day also supports local charities Seins’Glées and Le marathon de la coupe de cheveux. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 6 km race.
