About this race
Taill’Aventure Trail is a trail-running event in Lunas, France, organized by the Taill’Aventure club. Its fifth edition was planned with two running options: a 20 km trail with 800 m of climbing and a 12 km trail with 330 m of climbing, plus an 8 km hike with 200 m of climbing. Starts are grouped in the early afternoon, with the longer race going first, then the shorter trail, then the hike.
The routes use new courses around the Lunas area, mixing winding paths, granite sections, and open viewpoints across a wild, little-known corner of the Haut-Languedoc. The races are part of the Challenge Trail du Haut-Languedoc, and the event is backed by nearby towns including Lunas les Châteaux, Joncels, Le Bousquet-d’Orb, and Avène, with support from Grand Orb, Hérault, and Hérault Sport. One edition was canceled because of bad weather.
