6 & 12 km de Carrières-sous-Poissy 2027

The 6 & 12 km de Carrières-sous-Poissy offers runners two short trail-style options within the Parc départemental du Peuple de l'Herbe, a protected natural area in Carrières-sous-Poissy. The current format includes 6 km and 12 km races, a two-distance setup introduced after the event's inception. Over 420 runners participated in the most recent edition, indicating a local race with a substantial field rather than a small park run. The route follows paths exclusively, encircling the Galiotte and Vieille Ferme ponds within the park. The day also features community elements: the NB Anim brass band performs for participants, Rose Mery Jaulin leads a warm-up session, FLEP provides a Chanbara demonstration and initiation, and informational stands include UNICEF and Miel de la boucle de la Seine. Results and photographs are made available post-race.
