The 6 heures et 3 heures de Dury is a timed running event held within the village of Dury, with all participants starting simultaneously at 10:00. Runners select either the 3-hour or 6-hour race, with the flexibility to conclude their effort after 1 or 2 hours. The objective is straightforward: accumulate the greatest distance within the allotted time. Individuals can compete solo or as part of a team comprising 2 or 3 members. The pace is entirely at the participant's discretion, allowing for running, walking, or a combination of both.
The race route is a level, entirely paved loop measuring 1.1 km that winds through the village. Each circuit brings runners past the designated parking area, facilitating easy access to spare equipment, nutrition, or support. Additionally, a dedicated runner zone is situated near the timing checkpoint. CAP 21 and the commune of Dury are the organizing bodies for these races. All finishers will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a cosmetic item, a sandwich upon completion, and additional surprise gifts. Food services and entertainment are also arranged to accompany the event.
