Altitude Tour au féminin - Pujaut is a women’s road cycling race scheduled for June, operating as a UCI event in collaboration with the French Cycling Federation. The initiative originates from Acfir, a cycling association established in Pujaut to promote and support women road racers, specifically by providing a race structured around mountain finishes. Its official logo was selected to highlight this distinctive characteristic: stages concluding at high altitudes.
The race begins at the Pont du Gard and crosses southern and southeastern France, with stages in Occitanie, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The initial course outline features two stages in Gard, one in Vaucluse, and one in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Acfir has partnered with ASM Shimano, the neutral service provider associated with the Tour de France, to provide support with seven cars and six motorcycles equipped with disc-brake bikes, wheels, and gear. Organizers are also seeking volunteers to assist with the event, indicating its development from a local association rather than an established race organization.
