The Backyard Cap Découverte Trail des Titans is a backyard ultra held at Cap Découverte in Le Garric, Tarn, Occitanie, France. Odyssée Endurance is the organizer. The fundamental rule is straightforward: runners begin a 6.706-kilometre loop each hour. Anyone not finishing the loop before the hour concludes is out. The solo race continues until one runner remains to complete a final lap alone.
The course follows a natural loop through wooded areas, tight single-track trails, and broader paths, featuring approximately 80 metres of elevation gain per lap. This format originated in the United States, where the hourly distance was selected so that 24 completed loops equate to 100 miles. The difficulty lies not just in running quickly; participants must manage their pace, utilize any remaining time for rest and nutrition, and be prepared for the next hour's start.
