About this race
Run&Bike d’Argentré is a team run-and-bike event held in Argentré, Mayenne, centered on the plan d’eau d’Argentré. Laval Triathlon Club organizes it, succeeding the former duathlon d’Argentré after five editions. Adult participants compete in pairs, choosing between the XS format (9 km over two loops) or the S format (18 km over four loops). The schedule separates adult starts, with the S category beginning first, followed by the XS category, and youth races later.
The looped course keeps the competition near the lake, meaning pairs will cover the same terrain multiple times instead of a point-to-point route. The event also features youth categories for ages 6-9 and 10-13, along with a Mini Run & Bike introduction for younger or less experienced participants. One past edition saw 54 adult duos across the two adult formats, suggesting a local club race atmosphere rather than a large-scale event. Food is available on site post-race, and archives from the previous duathlon editions are maintained, documenting the event's transition to a run-and-bike format.
