About this race
The Bike and Run de Vittel event unites two teammates on the CPO de Vittel site in the Vosges, France's Grand Est region, using a single mountain bike. One participant runs while the other cycles, with the option to exchange the bike at any time, provided both reach the finish line together. Vittel Triathlon is the organizer, offering youth races alongside XS and S formats suitable for children, mixed adult-child teams, and older competitors.
The shortest race covers 1.6 km for the 6-9 age group, and the 10-13 race is 4.8 km. The XS format spans 6.8 km for ages 12 and above, while the S format is 13.5 km with 196 m of elevation gain for ages 16 and up. The extended course connects Vittel's center to the thermal park, drawing nearly 300 competitors for the 13 km event. The club promotes it as the Vosges' inaugural bike-and-run of the year, sharing the day with a post-lunch cross-duathlon.
