About this race
Bike and Run Fidelio Manom is a two-person bike-and-run event held in the Cattenom forest near Thionville, organized by Vélo Club Fidélio Manom. Each team shares a single bike; one athlete runs while the other cycles, with the ability to switch roles at any point, provided they do not impede other teams. The race is timed, requires helmets for all participants, and is structured for pairs rather than individual competition.
The forest course offers a distinct character compared to a road race, with distances adjusted for age and skill level. Younger children and parent-child teams compete over 2 km, older children have a 4 km option, teenagers race 8 km, and longer distances extend to 13 km for more experienced teams. The parent-child category enhances its family appeal, while adult and teen races maintain a competitive element. A single rule governs the finish: teammates must cross the line together at the end of every lap.
