Burck and Run Mérignac 2027

Burck and Run is a winter multisport race day in Mérignac, near Bordeaux, held at Bois du Burck and Stade Cruchon. SAM Triathlon organizes it as an accessible event for participants aged six and up, featuring a 14 km Bike & Run, cross duathlon options, and a short family Animathlon. The duathlons are off-road run-bike-run races. The XS distance includes 2 km running, 5.5 km on the bike, and 1 km running. The S distance doubles these to 4 km, 11 km, and 2 km, and can be completed solo or as a relay. Families can form teams of two to four for 1 km on foot, 3.2 km by bike, and a final 500 m run. The event requires trainers, a mountain bike, a helmet, and a willingness to share the course.
