Canicross La Croquette 2026

At Canicross La Croquette, runners can participate with their own dog, a neighbor's dog, or a shelter dog. This solidarity canicross event takes place in Saint-Eloi, in France's Nievre region, during early October. It is organized by La French Run in conjunction with the commune of Saint-Eloi. The day's events include canicross, canichiot races, dogless races, and children's races, making it accessible to both those racing with dogs and those who prefer to run or walk. The event is held at the Arche de la biodiversite, providing an outdoor setting, though course details are limited. La Croquette utilizes sport to raise awareness about animal abandonment, with entry fees benefiting the Refuge de Beauregard, an animal-welfare shelter operating since 1982. Now in its fourth edition, the event accommodates a diverse range of participants, including club runners, casual walkers, children, dog owners, those borrowing a dog, and shelter dogs.
