About this race
The Challenge Bike & Run du Perche, a three-stage bike-and-run series in the Perche area of Eure-et-Loir, features a unique format where one bike is shared by two people. UFOLEP 28 organizes this event, structured as FFTRI-style activity sessions, with stages held in Thiron-Gardais, St Eliph, and Saintigny. Teams operate on a straightforward principle: one member runs while the other cycles, with the flexibility to switch roles at any point.
Each stage consists of a 2 km loop, completed between one and six times based on the selected distance. This event is designed for diverse pairs, welcoming parent-child, child-child, female-male, licensed, and unlicensed teams, rather than focusing on a specialized competitive field. There is no overall classification or need for a medical certificate, though all participants are required to wear a helmet. Teams completing all three stages receive a participation challenge award.
