Chaparun is a trail-running event in Chapareillan, a village in France’s Isère department at the foot of Mont Granier. Runners choose from three distances: 24 km Le Sérieux, 13 km Le Demi, and 6 km Le Galopin, accommodating both those seeking a short run and those ready for a tougher mountain outing.
The routes traverse the area between Isère and Savoie, offering views toward the Bauges, Belledonne, and Mont Blanc ranges. The event is organized by local running enthusiasts with a passion for both road and mountain running. A children’s race, Chapamômes, is also included, and the main event has returned following successful recent editions.
