Cloture CODEP 40, also known as the Randonnee du Col Vert, is an October cycling day in the Landes region, marking the end of the CODEP 40 calendar. It functions more as a randonnee than a competitive race: participants select a road, gravel, or mountain-bike route distance, register in the morning, and ride with club support instead of aiming for a formal podium.
The available routes include short VTT rides of 25 and 40 km, road options of 45, 60, and 75 km, and a 45 km gravel ride. The event involves local clubs such as U.S.C. Hagetmau and Cyclo Club Tethieu, with support stations at locations like the covered market in Hagetmau and the village hall in Tethieu. Licensed FFCT riders may enter certain routes without charge, while non-licensed riders pay a small fee. Practical amenities typical of French club cycling are provided: refreshments, snacks or sandwiches, showers, and bike cleaning facilities post-ride.
