Corrida d'Arnage is a road race held in early January in Arnage, a town in Sarthe, France, within the Pays de la Loire region, close to Le Mans. It follows a flat route through the town's central streets, offering three distances: a 1.2 km race for children and families, and 5 km and 10 km races for older participants. The 5 km is open to the minimes age group and above, and the 10 km is open to cadets and above, meaning the event accommodates young children, club runners, and adult road racers on the same circuit.
The main races often sell out before race day, and registration is not available on the day. The event maintains a strong club-running focus, with allocated bibs for FFA-licensed runners in both the 5 km and 10 km, while also accommodating non-licensed runners at affordable entry fees. Bib collection takes place at La Bulle, located behind the town hall, and requires photo ID. One euro from each bib purchase is donated to a local solidarity fund that assists a family with a disabled child. The race has completed over thirty editions and surpassed its participation record following a less successful edition with approximately 900 runners. It now presents as a focused local event that has regained its participant numbers while retaining its town-centre scale.
