The Corrida de Noël in Auray is an 8 km night race held in Morbihan, Brittany. It starts at 7:30 PM on Place Notre-Dame in December, as part of the town’s Christmas events. Participants need to bring a headlamp. The race is limited to 450 runners, with a fee of 12 euros plus registration costs. One euro from each entry supports the Téléthon.
The course consists of several loops through Auray’s town center and the port of St Goustan. This route means runners pass the old streets and waterfront multiple times, rather than following a single point-to-point path. Costumes are encouraged, contributing to a local festival atmosphere rather than a standard road race. Trail d’Auray organizes the event. Bib pickup is available from 6:00 PM, and a bag drop is provided for runners.
