The Corrida Pédestre de Lourdes is a family-friendly foot race in Lourdes, French Pyrenees, held on the second Saturday of December, just before the year-end holidays. U.A. Lourdes organizes it with support from the City of Lourdes. The event maintains a Christmas-season atmosphere rather than a purely competitive mood.
The route crosses the historic heart of Lourdes, passing through the Château fort, Cagots, Egalité, and Garnavie areas, and goes near the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Runners will encounter flat sections, steeper climbs, descents, narrow streets, and stair passages. The course requires some effort but allows participants to set their own pace. Children, adults, families, regular runners, and casual participants all join in the day.
