About this race
The Trail de la Croix Labbé begins and ends in Hussigny-Godbrange, a small town in Meurthe-et-Moselle, France’s Grand Est region, near the Luxembourg border. This late-November trail event offers two single-loop races: a 10.5 km with 200 m of elevation gain and a 25 km with 700 m of elevation gain. Both distances are run on natural terrain, and a night-race format is also available.
The 25 km race presents a greater challenge, offering sufficient elevation to serve as a true trail test without becoming an ultra-distance event. Hussigny-Godbrange provides a distinct local setting, as the town developed around an old iron mine. This gives the event a backdrop of mining history, unlike a nondescript rural location. The format is suitable for runners seeking a concise trail race near the end of the season, with a shorter loop for less experienced trail runners and a more demanding 25 km route for those desiring a tougher challenge.
