Corsica Coast Trail is a multi-day trail running series on the Corsican coast, typically in mid-October. Race options range from short mountain-and-sea stages to a 150 km or 155 km main challenge. The event is based around Ajaccio, Bonifacio, and the western side of the island. Runners can choose a full six-stage week or shorter north and south versions, including 37 km, 43 km, 73 km, and 78 km races. It is a staged trail trip through protected coastal country, featuring sand, cliffs, scrub, and mountain paths within the same week.
The long route runs from villages around Cape Corse toward the Bonifacio Citadel, with stages varying from 13 km to 60 km. Runners will encounter short steep climbs, long crossings of fine sand beside turquoise water, paths through cistus and strawberry trees, fields of immortelle, and abrupt cliffs above the sea. The organizing association, Acula Marina, asks participants to cross the island with humility and respect, aligning with a race focused on fragile, wild places rather than closed city streets. The 150 km distance attracts the most interest, and the full package may include hotel half-board, transport from Bastia back toward Ajaccio or Figari, aid stations, and podiatry or physiotherapy care between stages.
