Course d'enfert - Saint-Maixent-l'École 2027

Course d'Enfert is a trail race in Saint-Maixent-l'École, in the Deux-Sèvres region of western France. Participants can select between 9 km and 21 km, accommodating both shorter-distance trail runners and those seeking a more demanding, longer run. The event is limited to 500 participants and often fills rapidly, with many runners originating from Deux-Sèvres and adjacent departments. The 9 km route combines technical terrain with quicker, more runnable segments. The 21 km course requires more strategic pacing; Rémi Couvet, a runner from Pamproux and a regular on this route, identifies the ascent toward Val Denfert as a key point where the race can diverge, advising participants to conserve energy for the final section. Audrey Ribeyrol and Morgane Clerc have previously won the women's races over the short and long distances, respectively.
