Course de la Chalouette 2026

Course de la Chalouette is a trail race in Châlo St Mars, located in the green valley formed by the Chalouette river through the Beauce plateau. It has been held annually since 2003 and is part of the Essonne green challenge. This event appeals to runners seeking trails, hills, mud, and a close connection with nature, in contrast to a flat road race. The primary 21 km course crosses the wooded slopes above the valley, includes stony tracks through Beauceron fields, and follows the wet ground alongside the river, occasionally using the riverbed. An 11 km spring race, introduced later, also offers a physical challenge while passing through a protected area where participants might observe local orchids.
