About this race
The Course di Quieu Blanc is a local running and walking event held in Eygalières, a village in Bouches-du-Rhône, southern France. Participants can choose between shorter and longer running distances, approximately 7 to 7.6 km and 15 km, respectively, along with a walking route. Races commence at 09:30. The 15 km route is not flat, featuring around 240 meters of climbing, while the shorter race includes about 150 meters of positive elevation gain.
The event, organized by the Foyer Rural d’Eygalières, has been held for at least nine editions. Hundreds of participants start across the two running distances and the walk, creating a community sports atmosphere rather than a specialist trail race. Approximately sixty volunteers assist on the day, reflecting its village scale and local support.
