The Course Nature de la Grapille is a village nature race in Torpes, starting and finishing in the village center. Participants can select from 20 km, 13 km, and 7 km routes, all featuring mixed terrain including roads, paths, and forest trails. The 20 km race begins in the morning, with the shorter distances starting afterward. The entire adult program concludes before noon.
The routes are designed as loops around Torpes, with the majority of the running taking place in the woods of Torpes and Osselle-Routelle. Each course returns through the village center, passing the start-finish area before heading toward the Doubs for a final loop. This last section incorporates the steep raidillon de la Grapille near the finish, adding a challenging incline at the end. The course design allows spectators to see runners frequently, as those starting the final loop can observe others nearing the finish. The event has a limit of 600 runners across all distances, includes younger minime runners on a shorter 7 km course, and schedules free children's races for the afternoon.
