About this race
The Course Nature Semi-Nocturne de la Butte is an early-evening nature race in Blou, a village in Maine-et-Loire, France. Participants can select between 11 km and 17 km courses. Both races begin at 18:30, placing them between daylight and darkness, unlike a typical morning trail run.
The 11 km route ascends approximately 150 metres and is the more popular choice, with over 200 participants in a past event. The 17 km route climbs up to 250 metres and has attracted more than 100 runners, offering a smaller field but a more challenging elevation. The Comité des Fêtes de Blou organizes the race, with entry fees set between 10 and 14 euros. The next edition is scheduled for late February.
