La Saulgéenne is a trail running event held in Saulgé, France. The race village is located at Espace 2000 on the Vergnade grounds. OSS97 is the organizer. Adults can select from 5 km, 10 km, or 15 km routes, accommodating both new runners and those seeking a longer challenge. The 5 km race is open to the Minimes youth category and older, allowing younger participants a role in the main event.
Children have their own free races, La P'tite Saulgéenne: 800 m for ages 4 to 9 and 1600 m for ages 10 to 13. Electronic chips integrated into the bibs will manage timing. Bib collection is available at Espace 2000 on the late afternoon before the race or on race morning. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women in each race. The inaugural event attracted over four hundred participants, a solid beginning for this local race in its second year.
