About this race

Courses nature des Coëvrons is a trail running series based at the Site du Gué de Selle in Mézangers, near Évron in Mayenne, western France. It gives runners three choices: an 8 km trail, a 20 km race called Le Montaigu, and a 50 km race called Les 2 Monts. The event is organized by CA Evron, with the shorter race open from age 16 and the two longer races open from age 18. The races use forest and natural paths around the Coëvrons area, with very little road on the longer routes. The 20 km and 50 km courses are loops starting and finishing at Gué de Selle, and each includes only about 2 km of road; the 20 km has 350 m of climbing, while the 50 km climbs about 1000 m. The 8 km stays on the Gué de Selle site and is described as flat trail, making it the most approachable option. The series is billed locally as “courses de champions,” but the range of distances makes it work for both newer trail runners and people looking for a longer day out.
