About this race
Cross des 4 villages is a local cross-country race held in Oye-et-Pallet, Doubs, eastern France, each November. Organized by the Association Sportive d'Oye-et-Pallet, it offers a mixed race day with events for all ages, from U7 children to Masters runners. The primary distances are 8.7 km and 5 km, supplemented by youth races of 3 km, 1 km, 800 m, 620 m, and 430 m. Several hundred runners are anticipated across 10 categories, accommodating participants from very young beginners to adult club athletes.
All races commence and conclude in Oye-et-Pallet, with bib collection situated in front of the Pellegrini building. The youngest participants compete in age-specific and sometimes gender-specific races, including separate 430 m starts for Baby U7 and 620 m starts for U10. The event features CLUB, FAMILY, and LOCATELLI challenges, providing team and household competition beyond individual results. Registration is required prior to race day, and adult participants must present a medical certificate or proof of a French health prevention course.
