Cross des sources de Varces - Varces-Allières-et-Risset 2027

The Cross des Sources de Varces takes runners onto village paths in Varces-Allières-et-Risset, located in the Isère department of southeastern France. This February cross-country running event features 10 km and 5 km races that begin in the morning, with shorter children's races over 1.6 km, 600 m, and 300 m following. The course starts on trails within the village center, giving the race a local feel from the outset, rather than resembling a road race situated on the town's outskirts. Over 600 runners participated in the 31st edition, and the children's races are considered integral to the day's events, with every finisher receiving a medal.
