Cross du Sud Ouest - Gujan-Mestras

Cross du Sud Ouest in Gujan-Mestras offers 50 races over three days, resembling a running festival more than a single event. The schedule includes school and university races, adult open events, 5, 10, and 15 km trail races, a 12.8 km Run and Bike, and a 5.8 km Cani Cross for participants with dogs. Free family activities, such as the Family Run and the balade des pitchouns for children, are also available. The courses vary from short cross-country runs to the 22 km Course Nature Entre Terre et Mer, which can be completed solo, in pairs, or in teams of three. The open cross features small hills and obstacles, providing a more accessible cross-country experience for non-specialists. With over fifty editions held, the event attracts a diverse crowd: school pupils, students, families, club runners, dog runners, volunteers, public partners, and local sponsors gather for the weekend. The organizers prioritize sport, solidarity, and eco-responsible practices.
