Diodurun 2027

Diodurun is a winter trail race in Saint-Remy-l'Honore, in the Yvelines west of Paris. It uses a backyard-style loop rather than a fixed point-to-point distance. Runners complete a 6.5 km circuit and may repeat it up to eight times, offering a maximum distance of 52 km. The format is straightforward to grasp but challenging to execute: each loop requires runners to gauge their effort, decide how much to conserve, and assess their ability to continue as time passes. The route incorporates the local Yvelines terrain, featuring forest sections and hills instead of flat road running. Approximately 250 trail runners are anticipated, resulting in a compact field. The repeated-loop structure emphasizes pacing and strategy more than in a typical trail race. ADN Trail 78 established the event, and its name references the area's Gallo-Roman history. The organizers also present it as a community-focused race, with an association managing the setup and supporting local initiatives.
