The Duathlon de Rennes is a spring run-bike-run event held in Rennes, Brittany, organized by Rennes Triathlon on the University of Beaulieu campus. The schedule includes two youth races for children aged 6 to 13 in the morning, followed by women’s and men’s adult races in the afternoon using the Sprint format. It is open to both FFTRI-licensed athletes and non-licensed participants, allowing club racers and newcomers to compete together.
All courses are contained within the Beaulieu campus at Avenue Général Leclerc, keeping the competition within the university setting. The shortest youth race involves a 250 m run, 1 km bike, and 250 m run, with routes adjusted for different age groups. The adult Sprint race also serves as a qualifier for the French D3 duathlon championship, and a two-person relay option allows friends or colleagues to share the Sprint-format effort. A sustainable ranking provides a local element, offering athletes questionnaire-based bonuses for environmentally conscious decisions.
